About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – TELE)

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Perform and manage IV insertions and PICC line placement and maintenance
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and care coordination
• Conduct neurological assessments using NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or compact nursing license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR in a telemetry or acute care setting
• Experience with PICC line insertion and management
• Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
