The FAU Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine seeks a dynamic and collaborative Urologist to join our clinical faculty at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, and will provide exemplary, compassionate care within the Florida Atlantic Medical Group with emphasis on teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activities in a thriving community-based medical school setting. The mission of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine is to advance health and well-being through educating and training physicians, medical students, residents, and fellows who are lifelong learners and compassionate, skilled practitioners. Faculty collaborate across medical specialties and partner with community-based and academic healthcare providers to advance excellence in education, clinical care, and research. Responsibilities Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical management for urologic conditions including kidney, bladder, prostate, adrenal, and male reproductive disorders, with a focus on improving urological health outcomes. Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic urologic procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and coordinated care. Participate in hospital and community-based outreach programs to expand access to urological healthcare. Research & Scholarship: Engage in clinical research, quality improvement, or public health initiatives related to urology. Share scholarly efforts through conference presentations and peer‑reviewed publications. Service & Community Engagement: Serve on departmental, college, and university committees. Collaborate with local agencies and community organizations to improve urological healthcare delivery and outcomes. Contribute to institutional initiatives aimed at advancing clinical care and community education. Academic Teaching & Mentorship: This is primarily a clinical position; teaching and mentorship are not required at this time, but opportunities may include: providing teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows; mentoring in patient care, clinical reasoning, research methodology, and professional development; and contributing to curriculum development with emphasis on evidence-based practice in urology. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution with credentials that merit appointment at the rank of assistant professor or higher. Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) and ABMS Board certification or eligibility in Urology. Demonstrated commitment to academic teaching, scholarship, and community engagement. Preferred Competencies Evidence of multidisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration. Salary Commensurate with experience. College or Department Charles E.
