Julia Johnson State Farm Insurance Agency is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative who wants to build a long-term career in insurance and financial services.

You’ll begin your career with us in Customer Service , where you’ll learn our customers, insurance products, systems, and agency operations from the ground up. As you demonstrate strong performance, initiative, and readiness, you’ll have the opportunity to cross-train and develop into a P&C Sales role .

Your Development Path:

Phase 1 – Learn & Serve
Build a strong foundation in customer service, agency systems, insurance products, and policy servicing while obtaining the required insurance licensing.

Phase 2 – Cross-Train
Begin learning how to identify customer needs, uncover insurance opportunities, make recommendations, participate in sales coaching, and practice sales conversations.

Phase 3 – Develop into Sales
Team members who demonstrate strong customer service performance, sales aptitude, coachability, licensing, and consistent results may have the opportunity to transition into a P&C Sales Team Member position .

For individuals interested in continued advancement, there may also be opportunities for leadership development and participation in the State Farm Agent Aspirant program .

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, text, and in person.
• Assist customers with payments, policy questions, basic policy changes, insurance documents, and claim-status questions.
• Coordinate with appropriate operations teams to resolve customer needs.
• Maintain accurate customer and policy information and follow through on service requests.
• Communicate effectively with customers in both English and Spanish .
• Learn to recognize customer needs and identify opportunities for additional insurance conversations.
• Partner with and learn from our sales team.
• Participate in ongoing coaching, role-playing, cross-training, and professional development.
• Use agency technology and customer-management systems efficiently.
• Obtain and maintain required Washington State insurance licensing.

Experience: 1–2 years of customer service experience is preferred. Previous office or sales experience is a plus, but insurance experience is not required.

Licensing:

You will be expected to obtain the appropriate Washington State insurance license(s) required for your responsibilities within the timeframe established by the agency. We will provide guidance and resources to help you through the licensing process.
