Quality & Regulatory Manager

The Quality & Regulatory Manager leads product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across the full product lifecycle, ensuring all products meet GMP, FDA, MoCRA, IFRA, and global regulatory standards. This role partners cross-functionally with Product Development, Operations, and external manufacturers to support compliant, high-quality product launches at scale. Description Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across raw materials, finished goods, suppliers, and contract manufacturers Serve as the primary quality lead for external manufacturing partners, including audits, documentation review, and performance management Ensure compliance with applicable cosmetic and fragrance regulations (FDA, MoCRA, IFRA, GMP, ISO, Prop 65, etc.) Lead quality oversight for new product launches, reformulations, scale-ups, and process changes Review and approve specifications, batch records, COAs, and quality-related documentation Investigate and resolve quality issues, deviations, complaints, and non‑conformances; lead CAPAs and root cause analysis Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regulatory to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle Manage and interpret stability, compatibility, and shelf-life testing to ensure product performance and safety Track and report quality metrics, trends, and risks, proactively identifying improvement opportunities Act as a subject‑matter expert and quality advisor to internal stakeholders as the business scales MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Michael Page will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance Profile Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or similar) 7-10+ years of experience in quality and/or regulatory roles within beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, or a regulated CPG environment Strong hands‑on knowledge of FDA cosmetic regulations, MoCRA, IFRA standards, GMPs, and supplier quality management Experience working with contract manufacturers and external laboratories Ability to operate independently and influence across a cross‑functional organization Direct experience in fragrance or prestige beauty Experience supporting multi‑brand or fast‑growth environments Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks ISO 22716 audit or lead auditor experience Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $155,000 per year, depending on experience.
