Billing Specialist

I am on the hunt for a Billing Specialist to join an accounting team and support both local and national operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant billing. I am looking for someone analytical, people-smart, and proactive. Someone who has experience and enjoys partnering with Project Managers and Operations leaders to improve processes, profitability, and keeping projects on track. The role will involve: Preparing accurate material invoices using multiple billing rate schedules with complete supporting documentation Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Accounting software for estimating and invoicing T&M losses Collaborating closely with Project Managers across local offices Processing and review daily job paperwork including crew sheets, equipment logs, and material sheets Entering and allocating labor, materials, and equipment costs in Acumatica Reviewing and approving daily crew time in ADP to support payroll processing Organizing and maintaining complete job files to support invoicing and audits What I am looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent on-the-job experience Prior experience in construction, or project-based billing Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and urgency Ability to work extended hours when operational needs require Ability to travel on short notice Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Experience with Acumatica, T&M Pro, ADP, Microsoft 365, or similar systems(preferred) What's in it for you?
