Plater - 2nd Shift

Job Overview At Pentair, you will work alongside passionate problem‑solvers who are committed to the future of the planet. Join our Manitowoc, WI team as a Plater to plate parts as per engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions in support of production schedules while meeting customer quality expectations. Responsibilities Interpret and apply engineering drawings, instructions, and standards. Operate the plating robot and controller and use the computer to perform daily job functions. Read and use measuring equipment, and perform chemical testing. Test, analyze, and control the plating process per standard, including measuring plating thickness. Identify each evaporator with a label showing its plating origin. Inspect parts visually and through use of corrosive chemicals before and after plating. Clean-up the general work area. Operate a pallet jack. Use various hand tools. Qualifications Manually lift parts up to 41 lbs. to and from conveyors and racks. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, team‑oriented environment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Shift & Hours 2nd shift 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday – Friday. Shift hours may slightly vary and may be subject to overtime based on operational requirements. Compensation Starting hourly pay: $24.69/hr, with the opportunity to earn $30+ within 12 months. Opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
