Safe Horizon Recovery Facility is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our compassionate team. Work Environment

This role is designed for a remote work environment, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a high standard of care for clients. Our outpatient office serves as a collaborative hub for our multi-disciplinary team, which includes professionals from various backgrounds dedicated to creating a supportive atmosphere for both staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

As the Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a range of critical tasks, including:

  • Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Performing initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to gauge client progress and the effectiveness of treatment strategies.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals and follow-up procedures to ensure sustained progress.
  • Actively engaging with the multi-disciplinary team to contribute insights and recommendations that enhance overall client treatment plans and foster collaborative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population primarily consists of individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in supporting these clients through comprehensive therapeutic approaches that reflect an understanding of their complex needs, ensuring that interventions are not only effective but also empathetic and culturally competent.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of a current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science, including LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or similar credentials.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role is required, preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with substance use populations and knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

Safe Horizon Recovery Facility offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
