Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a dynamic operating room environment. The role involves working rotating schedules with 5 x 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, covering hours from 0600 to 2030. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the areas of Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Trauma.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
• Be available for on-call duties, including at least one night per week and one weekend per schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of full-time experience in the operating room is required.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Trauma is required.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.
• Certifications:
  
  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
  • Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification is preferred.
• Epic electronic health record experience is required.

Work Schedule

This position entails day and evening shifts with rotating schedule start times. The selected candidate will be required to work 5 x 8-hour shifts, including weekend and night on-call responsibilities based on departmental needs.
