Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2171.92/week - Job Summary: A registered nurse specializing in operating room care is needed to provide perioperative nursing services. The role involves supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. Responsibilities: Assess patients before surgery and prepare them for procedures. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative interventions. Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during operations. Document all nursing activities and patient responses accurately. Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain sterile environments. Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients. Qualifications: Hold a valid and active RN license in the state of practice. Possess at least 1 year of recent operating room or perioperative nursing experience. Maintain current certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Be willing to work scheduled hours from 11 am to 9 pm, with potential call responsibilities. Demonstrate ability to float within scope and adapt to different units as needed. Comply with travel and local licensing requirements.
