Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required We are seeking an experienced Principal EMI/EMC Engineer to join our Power & Controls EMI group in Windsor Locks, CT. In this role, you will help ensure aerospace electronics meet EMI/EMC requirements and perform reliably in real-world conditions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, turn customer requirements into practical design solutions, support testing in our on-site EMI lab, and help deliver hardware that meets industry standards. What You Will Do Review customer EMI/EMC requirements and assess compliance or risks Analyze existing and redesigned hardware for EMI/EMC performance Work with cross-functional teams to recommend design solutions for compliance Develop EMI test plans and test procedures that meet customer and industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-461) Support in-house testing at our EMI lab and ensure tests are executed properly Prepare EMI test reports for internal and external customers Present EMI findings and recommendations in design reviews Prepare and Present slides at design reviews for Internal and external customers Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Knowledge of EMI/EMC principles, standards, and testing practices Qualifications We Prefer Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Experience with EMI/EMC modeling and 3D EM analysis tools such as Ansys EMC Simulation or CST Studio Suite® Hands-on experience with system-level and circuit-level design Familiarity with ETS-Lindgren TILE! The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
