Job Title

Travel RN – PACU / Same Day Surgery

Location

Dublin, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM with On-Call | Expected schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility staff

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care within a Same Day Surgery unit (14-bed unit)
• Maintain patient ratios of 2–3:1 (Post-op) and 1–2:1 (Pre-op) based on patient acuity
• Perform procedures including IV starts, administration of basic IV infusions, Foley catheter insertion, and EKG
• Utilize unit equipment including bladder scanner, vein finder, and EKG machine; document care using Meditech
• Follow AIDET patient experience standards and adhere to facility floating policy within Surgical Services as needed
• Complete Pediatric and Neuro Post-Operative competency set during on-site orientation at the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Georgia
• Minimum 1–2 years of pre-operative and post-operative nursing experience (this is a pre/post position — OR Circulator experience does not apply)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Pediatric and/or Neuro post-operative patient populations
• Familiarity with AIDET communication framework
• Experience working within a Level 3 Trauma Center environment
