We take pride in our commitment to advanced medical practice and compassionate service to our community. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Orthopedic Physician to join our growing team. Position Summary The Orthopedic Physician will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. This role will be responsible for both surgical and non-surgical patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care and optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, injuries, and diseases. Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions as appropriate. Provide consultation services to patients, families, and referring providers. Collaborate with physician assistants, nurses, physical therapists, and other members of the care team. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Participate in call coverage rotation, departmental meetings, and hospital committees as needed. Stay current with advances in orthopedic medicine and implement evidence-based practices. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Alaska. Strong surgical skills, clinical judgment, and commitment to quality patient care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and staff. Preferred Experience Fellowship training in a subspecialty (e.g., sports medicine, spine, joint replacement, hand, trauma) highly desirable. Experience working in a hospital or multi-specialty group practice setting. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and productivity incentives.
