Plumbing Project Manager

A leading mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, client relationships, and field coordination while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, proven leadership skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Manage commercial plumbing and mechanical construction projects from award through completion Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and field operations Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, billing, and project documentation Monitor project costs, labor productivity, equipment utilization, and overall project performance Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and manpower plans Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery of equipment and plumbing materials Conduct project meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, quality standards, and contract requirements Support preconstruction planning, budgeting, value engineering, and project buyout activities Manage project closeout, punch list completion, warranty documentation, and final turnover Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, or MEP constructio Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, piping systems, mechanical equipment, and construction practice Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedule Experience managing projects in commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, municipal, or large-scale facilitie Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skill Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmen Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and construction management platform Experience with scheduling software and project controls preferre Knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination processes pref OSHA 30 certification preferre College's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
