Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry experience, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, and familiarity with EPIC charting system. Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse to work in a telemetry setting. The position involves caring for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring. This includes pre and post cardiac catheterization patients and pacemaker patients. The nurse will manage patients with various conditions such as chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, and renal failure. The ideal candidate should be experienced in handling patients after their transfer from ICU. The nurse will provide care for medical or surgical overflow patients as necessary. The patient ratios are 1:5-6 during the day shift. Every other weekend coverage is required. On-call duties will be part of the responsibilities, and floating to meet facility needs may be necessary.
