Sr. Manager, On Premise Distributor Lead - IL

The Sr. Manager, On Premise Distributor Lead will oversee and manage distributor relationships for dedicated distributors and is responsible for the KPI achievement and management of assigned channel and account lead market team. Office/Location: Remote in market based on business needs. Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 annually + bonus. Job responsibilities Manage day-to-day relationship with distributors for key accounts within market. Communicate guidelines and expectations to distributors to ensure flawless execution across all channels within scope, brand objectives and strategies, and to deliver targets. Track distributor KPIs, based on brand/market priorities; take corrective action as necessary. Drive distributor to meet sales and depletion goals and execute the national and local program calendar. Participate in Market/Maison visitors, blitzes, and distributor education. Account Management Sell in MH brands/products, selecting relevant activations/programs/tactics for each account. Identify opportunities for bespoke programs, deeper brand education, and upsell, bringing in appropriate MH resources. Visit accounts to maintain relationship, monitor performance, and gather updates. Act as consultant to portfolio opportunities and growth via advice, education, programming, creative ideas, and analysis to accounts. Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain relationships with key accounts. Maintain on-call communication to ensure expectations met in customer relationship. Work hand in hand with distributor sales reps for pricing and fulfillment support. Ensure account needs for programs and activations are met and executed within MH brand guidelines. Build a key account plan through longer term account partnerships and ongoing programming. Inform the channel lead or market lead of opportunities, risks, and competitive intel. Participate in Market/Maison visitors, blitzes, and distributor education. Relationship Management Partner with Field Trade Marketing & Experiential Development to execute programs/experiences in accounts. Partner with Distributor to manage order execution. Manage account lead(s) in market and assist with role execution and career development (if applicable). Education Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience required. Professional Experience 7+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits. Profile Builds strong relationships and delivers customer‑centric solutions. Self‑starter and competitive attitude. Extensive understanding of consumer expectations within the geography. Ability to apply knowledge of key business issues to effective sales pitches and strategy‑setting. Well‑developed experience analyzing ROI and budget management. Highly effective influencing and partnering skills, strong knowledge of sales techniques. Refined communication and presentation skills. Excellent analytical ability; effectively interprets and applies syndicated data insights. Able to work with all levels of the organization. Flexible mindset/ability to manage change in direction. This role requires frequent driving to support account visits, transport POSM, and meet essential business needs. Driving is an essential function of the position. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required. Eligibility for a company vehicle is subject to a satisfactory driving record and completion of the Company’s approval process.
