Join us as a **Machine Builder**.**Location Type:** *This position is onsite in Nashville, TN.***Role Overview:**We are seeking a skilled **Machine Builder** with strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding fit, finish, and high-precision assembly. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling custom automated machinery from the ground up. This may include domestic and international travel, depending on project requirements.**Note:** This list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive; rather, it is intended as a guideline for the primary duties of the position.**What You'll Bring:*** High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred* Proven experience as a Machine Builder, Mechanical Assembler, or in a related role within automation or machinery manufacturing is highly preferred* Ability to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills* Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on quality, alignment, and overall craftsmanship* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, CAD prints, and assembly documentation* Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical assembly equipment* Familiarity with pneumatics, linear motion components, and industrial hardware* Basic understanding of electrical wiring or panel wiring, or a willingness to learn, is a plus* Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and adapt in a custom-build environment* Prior JR Automation experience or experience within the automation industry is strongly preferred**Disclaimer:** JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.**Company Overview:**At **JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company**, we discover potential, reimagine limits, and advance industry.
