Paramedic

VMSC Emergency Medical Services seeks a full-time Paramedic to provide high-quality 911 emergency response and non-emergency transport in Montgomery County, PA. In this role, you will perform advanced life support, patient assessment, medication administration, airway management, and cardiac monitoring under medical command. Paramedics collaborate closely with EMTs, hospitals, and dispatch, ensuring accurate documentation and safe operation of vehicles and equipment. You'll participate in community paramedicine, public education, and regular training, supporting a community-focused, patient-first mission and continuous clinical development. Responsibilities Provide advanced life support care during 911 and non-emergency responses Perform thorough patient assessments and initiate appropriate treatment plans Administer medications, manage airways, and perform cardiac monitoring under medical command Safely operate and maintain ambulances and medical equipment Accurately document patient care, interventions, and transport details Collaborate with EMT partners, dispatch, and hospital staff for seamless patient care Participate in community paramedicine and public education events Maintain readiness through ongoing clinical training and skills development Follow all clinical protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements Support a community-focused, patient-first culture and professional team environment Required Skills Advanced Life Support (ALS) procedures Pre-hospital patient assessment Medication administration in the field Airway management (including advanced airways) Cardiac monitoring and ECG interpretation Operation of cardiac monitors/defibrillators Electronic patient care reporting (e PCR) Safe ambulance driving and navigation Knowledge of EMS protocols and regulations Infection control and scene safety practices #J-18808-Ljbffr VMSC Emergency Medical Services
