Special Needs Provider Needed (Overnight ) 8p to 8a

Job Description Job Description As a Special Needs respite provider , you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. You will empower clients by providing guidance, resources, and advocacy to ensure they receive the care and services they need. Your passion for helping others will shine as you work collaboratively with healthcare providers, community organizations, and families to create a nurturing environment that promotes independence and quality of life.
Choose a shift:
1 full day+1 overnight + 2 partial days
( 5 overnight - respite )

Day shift - Monday and Tuesday (7a to 10a), Wednesday (7a to 8p), Thursday (8p to 8a) and backup for other shifts as needed

Responsibilities (Day)
What you’ll do
Assist patient with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients. This will including, planning activities in the community
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
Assist with transportation needs, ensuring patient safety at all times.
· Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control procedures.
Support patients with supplement management as directed by healthcare providers.

Overnight (Sun to Thurs) 8p to 8a

Responsibilities (Overnight)
What you’ll do
providing respite care from (8pm to 8am)
Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) - toileting
Basic qualifications
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities/autism.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and professionals.
Must have a valid level II background clearance
Preferred qualifications:
Exp working with individuals with autism
Reliable, stable and dependable
Independent and able to complete required employment paperwork
