Magic Coil Products is a family-owned steel processing company that has been successfully operating for more than 20 years. We are an ISO-certified steel service center located in Butler, Indiana, and we are currently hiring
Manufacturing Associate – Entry Level for both 1st and 2nd shift.
Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train dependable candidates with a strong work history and a willingness to learn.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
2nd Shift:
Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM
Fridays are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
What You'll Do
Depending on your experience and assigned production area, responsibilities may include:
- Operate and assist with steel processing and production equipment
- Assist with steel slitting, cutting, processing, and packaging operations
- Operate forklifts as trained and authorized
- Inspect finished materials for quality and accuracy
- Follow production specifications and work instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production and quality goals
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or steel processing experience preferred
- Forklift and/or overhead crane experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn
- Dependable attendance and solid work history
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with steel processing and material handling
No previous steel processing experience? Candidates with a strong manufacturing background and dependable work history are encouraged to apply. Training is available.
