Senior Accountant Audit

The Audit Senior serves as the “in-charge” on audit engagements, leading fieldwork, coordinating with clients, and ensuring audits are completed accurately and on time. This role acts as the primary day-to-day contact for clients while supervising staff and working closely with managers to deliver high-quality audit services. The position offers exposure to a variety of clients including privately held companies, nonprofits, and government entities. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting (or related) 2–4 years of public accounting experience Prior supervisory experience CPA preferred or actively pursuing Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/research tools Key Responsibilities Lead audits from planning through completion Execute fieldwork, manage timelines, and track budgets Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements Apply GAAS and firm audit methodology Research and resolve complex accounting issues Serve as primary client contact Supervise, review, and develop junior staff Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Solid understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and audit processes Leadership and team development abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr ISG Partners
