Ongoing OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Ohio Assignment Highlights: -Credentialing: 30-60 days -Emergency privileges may be available for qualified providers -Ongoing opportunity with an initial 6-month commitment and option to extend -24-hour beeper call only (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) -Inpatient coverage only - no clinic responsibilities -20-minute response time -Solo physician on call with experienced nursing and surgical support -Ability to call in an additional physician for surgical assistance when needed -Covering Labor & Delivery, scheduled C-sections, and ER OB/GYN cases -Responsible for both assigned and unassigned patients -Approximately 3-5 patients per day -Annual delivery volume: 500 births -OB/GYN mix: 80% OB / 20% GYN -Strong, fully staffed Labor & Delivery unit -Level I Nursery (no NICU) -High-risk patients are transferred -No midwives -No APP supervision required -Epic EMR -Comfortable performing the full scope of OB/GYN procedures -Circumcisions are a plus but not required -Board Certified (required if more than 5 years out of training) -Board Eligible accepted if within 5 years of residency completion -Active Ohio license preferred -IMLC candidates considered Jackson and Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Deposit + Top Rated Malpractice Insurance + In-House Travel Agency + 24/7 Recruiter Availability + Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Experience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.
