Pest Control Service Technician

A growing and respected Pest Control Company is seeking motivated pest service technicians. The pest service technician inspects residential and commercial properties to identify, prevent, and eliminate pests (e.g., rodents, termites, and insects). They apply targeted treatments, operate specialized equipment, and educate clients on sanitation and prevention while working independently in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspects homes and businesses for pest activity
• Identify pests and recommend treatment solutions
• Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively
• Measure the dimensions of the area needing treatment
• Set traps, place baits, and implement pest management plans
• Help protect customers' homes and businesses from future infestations
• Operate a company vehicle and travel to assigned customer locations throughout the service area
• Maintain accurate and complete records of services performed, treatments applied, and customer concerns.
• Safely handle, store, transport, and use pest control products, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Identify opportunities for additional services based on customer needs and property conditions.
• Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors, office staff, and team members.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable pest control regulations.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Estimate the cost of services

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 19 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record for the past three years, with no more than two violations, including traffic tickets and at-fault accidents.
• Ability to work independently and manage an assigned daily service route.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle and travel to assigned customer locations.
• Comfort working in all weather conditions, including climbing ladders, crawling, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 25 pounds
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, product labels, safety procedures, and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Previous experience working in a customer-facing service position.
• Experience using hand tools, power equipment, sprayers, or other service-related equipment.
• Experience preferred but will train
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
