Job Description We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Fireplace Installer to join a growing installation team. This is a hand-on construction position involving the installation of fireplaces, venting systems, chimneys, and related components in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, carpentry, remodeling, roofing, HVAC, or a similar skilled trade and be comfortable working with tools and at heights. Fireplace-specific experience is helpful but not required for someone with strong construction skills who is willing to learn. Responsibilities Install fireplaces, inserts, venting systems, chimneys, and related components Work on rooftops, ladders, and elevated areas to complete chimney and vent installations Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials according to specificationsSafely operate hand and power tools Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting installation materials Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Troubleshoot installation issues as they arise Communicate professionally with customers and other team members Follow manufacturer specifications and company safety procedures Work occasional weekend installations as scheduling requires Requirements Previous construction, carpentry, roofing, HVAC, remodeling, or similar hands-on experience preferred Must be comfortable working at heights and on ladders/rooftops Ability to accurately read a tape measure Comfortable using common hand and power tools Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying installation materials Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Flexibility to work occasional weekends when installations require it $18-$20/hour DOE Monday-Friday primary schedule Vacation pay after 1 year Sick pay after 1 year Opportunity to develop specialized installation and construction skills Compensation & Benefits $18-$20/hour DOE Monday-Friday primary schedule Occasional weekend installation work Vacation pay after 1 year Sick pay after 1 year Opportunity to develop specialized installation and construction skills Ideal Background Candidates with experience as a Construction Laborer, Carpenter Helper, Roofer, HVAC Installer, Remodeling Technician, Maintenance Technician, or General Construction Worker are encouraged to apply.
