Job Title: Quality Inspector

Payrate: $25 to $27 per hour

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

Location: Everett, WA 98203

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector who demonstrates the ability to solve practical problems and make logical decisions. The role involves ensuring day-to-day tasks align with quality standards and contributing to customer satisfaction by ensuring product quality. You will support corrective action responses as needed, communicate with various internal and external stakeholders, and assist the Quality Engineer in manufacturing and operations-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of quality inspections and audits.
• Create quality reports and analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in document control duties.
• Attend team meetings to ensure timely disposition of nonconforming material.
• Support the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process to ensure timely return of products to customers.
• Assist in the calibration of inspection and test equipment with internal stakeholders and third parties.
• Support ESD control compliance program.

Essential Skills

• First Article Inspection (FAI) experience.
• Mechanical skills and experience with hand tools.
• Proper use of measuring equipment and Measurement System Analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in assembly, PCB, wiring, first article inspection, soldering, electronic assembly, and blueprint reading.
• Working knowledge of IPC A-610 and other IPC standards such as IPC-620.
• Experience in an ISO 9001 environment is strongly desirable.
• Associate's degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, manufacturing, or process engineering (electronics manufacturing preferred).

Work Environment

The work environment includes a normal office and shop setting with occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines and physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. Employees may need to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor, and occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA 98203.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Everett,WA 98203.
