Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting 13-week contract assignment Day shift, 5x8 hours, typically 7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00 Floats between two clinic locations approximately 9.4 miles apart, with 2 days at one site and 3 days at the other depending on clinic needs No weekend requirements Uses WebPT for charting Treats orthopedic patient population including ankle sprains, DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, low back pain, post-op shoulder and spinal surgery, total hip and knee replacement, and sciatica Utilizes techniques such as gait training, McKenzie method, myofascial release, spinal mobilization, taping, and lumbar traction Requirements Active PT license required if applicable Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program 1+ years of outpatient experience required Strong outpatient orthopedics experience required CA state license required; pending license accepted with proof of application WebPT charting experience helpful Additional Information Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions using specialized manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques Open to first-time travelers and new graduates Local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID #P-742779.
