Offloader - Final Mile

Physical Warehouse Position
Unloading tractor trailer loads of furniture and staging it for deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a minimum daily offloading output as provided by the management
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment
- Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members
- Execute the placement of delivery items as specified by the management
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work professionally alongside co-workers
- Embrace the Werner Final Mile Values
- A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required in addition with the ability to work a flexible schedule
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent experience.
- One plus years transportation / Logistics / customer product assembly / delivery of furniture or appliances, or experience with a moving company.
- Must be 18 years old. Able to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Speak English and communicate with coworkers and read assembly instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Seeing and hearing: Read documents, 75-100 %
- Communicate in person. 100%
- Standing and walking. 0-75 %
- Climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling. 0-75 %
- Dexterity: utilizing hand Dolly / Hand Cart 75-100 %
- Lift more than 50-80 pounds.75-100 %
