The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs, adhering to established protocols and maintaining a compassionate approach. Unit Information Number of Beds: 12 Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per RN Unit Staffing Description: 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT) Type of Equipment: General Med-Surg Documentation System: Meditech Job Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will be responsible for: Delivering direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation. Participating in unit quality improvement initiatives. Scheduling Requirements Candidates must be available to work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule. Floating Requirements Participation in facility-wide Med Surg floating as needed. Patient Experience Requirements A minimum patient experience score of 75% is required. Qualifications Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Med-Surg setting. Skill Set: Team-oriented and compassionate approach to patient care. Dress Code Required uniform: Navy Scrubs.
