Machinery AssemblerUsing a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble machinery.Essential Functions of the Job:Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and proceduresComply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to meet Quality StandardsProficient use of equipment required by the job functionAdhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelinesReport problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production SupervisorAssemble equipment for final operationPerform troubleshooting as requiredExplores methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work being doneMaintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):Basic knowledge and understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production or precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers in addition to understanding fractions and decimals).Possess the ability to read and understand both written and verbal instructions.Must be able to read basic prints/schematics.Must be able to read and use tape measure, rule and square to fit parts and assemblies.Adhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelinesReport problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Group Lead/SupervisorAssemble equipment for final operationPerform troubleshooting as requiredExplores methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work being doneMaintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
