Task Force Relief Manager

Are you a hotel leader who can walk into a property, take charge, and get things done?

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Task Force Relief Manager to provide leadership and operational support across our growing hotel portfolio.

This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys variety, travel, problem-solving, and making an immediate impact.

You’ll step into properties when they need strong leadership, whether a GM is on vacation or leave, a position is vacant, a hotel is experiencing a high-occupancy period or major event, preparing for a quality audit, going through renovations, or simply needs additional operational support.

Assignments could last a few days, several weeks, or several months, depending on the needs of the property.

What You’ll Do

• Step in and lead hotel operations when additional or interim management support is needed
• Assume full GM-level responsibility when assigned to a property
• Lead, coach, motivate, and hold hotel teams accountable
• Oversee front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, guest service, and daily operations
• Monitor occupancy, revenue, labor, expenses, and overall property performance
• Ensure brand standards, cleanliness, safety, and guest service expectations are met
• Address staffing, operational, maintenance, and guest issues quickly and effectively
• Prepare properties for quality audits, inspections, events, renovations, and other special projects
• Assess problems, establish priorities, and implement practical solutions
• Build credibility and positive relationships quickly with new teams
• Communicate effectively with ownership, management, vendors, employees, and guests
• Travel between properties and adapt quickly to different teams, brands, and operating environments

What We’re Looking For

• Proven hotel General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience
• Strong understanding of hotel operations from front desk to housekeeping, maintenance, staffing, and financial performance
• A confident leader who can walk into an unfamiliar property and take ownership
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coach teams, establish expectations, and hold people accountable
• Business-minded with an understanding of revenue, labor, expenses, and profitability
• Hands-on, energetic, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed

Multi-brand experience is highly preferred, particularly Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Choice, or other major hotel brands.

This position is ideally based in the Denver market, with travel to properties in markets including Seattle and Southern California, as well as other locations as needed.
