As a Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Duties include Rounding
• Assessments
• Obtaining vitals
• Documentation
• Collaboration with family and physicians
• Medication administration (EMAR)
• Wound care (ETAR), and managing/ supervising assigned hall. 

A few must-haves for Licensed Practical Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in GA
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience, ideally in a facility setting, or completion of office’s preceptor program
• CPR certification 
• Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
• Clinical proficiency in nursing, strong communication skills and compassion
