JOB IS LOCATED IN KENOSHA, WI

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

All Machine Operators report directly to the Production Supervisor and are responsible for performing duties necessary to run the automatic crimp lines. rivet machines, and welding lines in accordance with process instructions and quality specifications, in a safe and timely manner. Perform all safety, quality, and assembly functions utilizing both verbal and written work instructions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) certificate; hands-on knowledge of proper welding principles and techniques is a plus.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be able to achieve training competence for cut, crimp, weld cam, weld lever mount and rivet operations within 6 months of assignment (i.e. all machine operations functions)
Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs repeatedly throughout the work day; this involves bending and stopping repeatedly and/or periodically during the day to move material, or other related activities
Must be able to stand long periods of time while running all machine operations
Must be able to read and write and complete basic math functions
Accurately measure, test, and document results of inspections
Adherence to all elements of quality management system
Other miscellaneous activities as required
