PLC Maintenance Technician

Tempest Aero Group is a proud leader in general aviation, seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician to support and maintain our automated production equipment and facility systems. This role is central to sustaining reliable manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing PLC controlled machinery while performing daily preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing electrical and control system faults, performing component-level repairs, tuning control loops, and implementing improvements to control logic and hardware. Typical duties include reading electrical schematics and ladder logic, replacing sensors and actuators, calibrating instruments, updating PLC code, and collaborating with production teams to quickly restore equipment to service. The position also assists with general facilities maintenance including HVAC, lighting, compressed air, and building troubleshooting to support overall plant operations.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with occasionally required overtime on Fridays based on production and maintenance needs.
Salary/Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
