The Specialized Recruiting Group, a division of Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca NY is recruiting for a Human Resource Manager for a local company.

The Human Resources Manager will lead a small HR team (1-5 members) and oversee all HR functions, reporting directly to the company President. This role is fundamental in recruiting talent, managing employee relations, driving performance and development initiatives, and fostering an engaging workplace culture. Occasional travel for recruiting and events will be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment processes to attract and retain qualified candidates
• Address employee relations and ensure positive work environment
• Implement performance management systems and support employee development
• Design and deliver training and development programs
• Develop and maintain HR policies aligned with company goals
• Promote employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in human resources management
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, working with a diverse population
• Ability to conduct training and employee informational meetings
