Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience is required. License: Must have a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required. NIHSS must be obtained prior to start. Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments are required to be completed during orientation. Travelers may only be submitted for one job at a time. Only recent references from assignments worked in the past 12 months will be accepted. Description: We are seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. This position is focused on providing winter coverage for a duration of 20 weeks. Candidates with 13 weeks of availability will also be considered. The position requires experience in a similar specialty prior to travel nursing. The selected candidate must demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition. An acceptable score on both ECG and safeMedicate assessments is mandatory. Local candidates are welcomed to apply, and compliance with nicotine-free requirements is required for non-exempt travelers.
