LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the financial close process and oversee day to day accounting operations for a manufacturing company. This role is central to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, executing a timely and precise month-end close, and partnering closely with plant leadership to support operational decision-making. You will report directly to the CFO and serve as a key member of the financial leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the full month-end close cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to deadlines.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
• Work closely with plant managers and operations teams to understand production results, inventory movements, cost drivers, and variances.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Drive continuous improvement in close processes, reporting, internal controls, and ERP usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong manufacturing exposure (cost accounting, inventory, plant partnership).
• Expertise in US GAAP and full-cycle close responsibilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills

Compensation:

$110,000-$120,000

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision

PTO is offered on an accrual basis

Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law
