Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position involves providing patient care in a mixed acuity unit handling both medical-surgical (MS) and telemetry (Tele) patients. Responsibilities include managing a patient load with a ratio of 1:5, performing IV starts, and overseeing tracheostomy management.

Shift Information

• 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night as per department needs
• Night shift: 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system is required
• BCLS certification is required
• Previous oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred

Expectations

Healthcare professionals will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels based on nursing needs and staffing priorities.

Parking Information

Agency staff have various parking permit options available, which provide access to different parking locations:

• WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the closest garage
• CXS Annual Permit: Multiple parking locations with weekend access
• WB Annual Permit: Access to specific garages on weekends and holidays with shuttle service

Refund Information

Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Refunds for current and prior months will not be issued. Cancellations must occur by the specified deadline to avoid further charges.
