Monday – Friday

7:00 am – 5:30 pm

$32.00 per hour

Job Summary

Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Welding Lead to supervise daily welding operations, coordinate production, and ensure quality standards are met. This hands-on position requires strong leadership skills, welding experience, and the ability to keep production running efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support welders and fitters.
• Assign daily work and communicate production expectations.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and drawings are ready before work begins.
• Coordinate fabrication processes, including steel rolling and preparation.
• Monitor workflow, resolve delays, and meet production deadlines.
• Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed.
• Prepare and communicate employee schedules at least two days before each pay period.
• Maintain accurate daily timekeeping and review timesheets.
• Ensure completed work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and correct production issues to minimize rework.
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Job Requirements

• Previous welding and fabrication experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding processes and fabrication equipment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train employees and manage production priorities.
• Willingness to work alongside team members to meet deadlines.
