Job Summary A growing company in Chino, CA is seeking a Project Specialist to support new product development, overseas manufacturing, supply chain coordination, and customer-driven product projects. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese professional who enjoys working with international suppliers, internal teams, and customers to move products from concept through production and delivery. The Project Specialist will play a key role in coordinating product specifications, samples, costing, production timelines, supplier communication, and supply chain updates. Key Responsibilities Coordinate new product development with overseas factories, including product specifications, samples, testing, costing, timelines, and production readiness. Work directly with manufacturers to monitor production schedules, capacity, raw materials, quality questions, and delivery status. Analyze product costs, including raw materials, labor, packaging, freight, tariffs, and other supply chain expenses. Track inventory, forecasts, purchase orders, and potential supply chain risks to support on-time delivery. Communicate with customers regarding product specifications, project updates, lead times, quality questions, and product-related inquiries. Coordinate with internal Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve issues, manage specification changes, and support continuous improvement. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year. Job type: Direct hire. Location: Chino, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills Coordinate product development projects with overseas manufacturers from specification review through production and delivery. Manage project timelines, supplier communication, samples, testing, costing, purchase orders, and delivery updates. Support supply chain coordination, inventory tracking, forecasting, and risk monitoring. Communicate project status and product details with customers, factories, and internal cross-functional teams. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and verbal. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, International Business, or a related field preferred. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, or product development. Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in Asia. Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, product development, and supply chain processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to communicate effectively across different time zones. Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside standard business hours as needed to coordinate with international teams and suppliers. Preferred Qualifications Experience with disposable medical devices, medical consumables, healthcare products, or other regulated products. Experience with OEM or private-label manufacturing. Experience with product costing, supplier management, forecasting, inventory planning, or international logistics.
