Assembler
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembler workers for a custom machinery and automated equipment manufacturing company in Detroit Lakes, MN. In this role, youll build and troubleshoot complex automated equipment while serving as a technical resource for the production team. You'll work in a team-focused environment that values craftsmanship, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and parts lists to complete complex assemblies
Assemble mechanical systems, conveyor equipment, and custom machinery to precise specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, fitment, alignment, and operational issues with minimal supervision
Perform equipment setup, testing, alignment, and functional verification to ensure quality standards are met
Train and mentor junior assemblers on assembly techniques, blueprint reading, safety practices, and quality expectations
Safely rig, move, and position equipment and large assemblies throughout the facility
Complete production and quality documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
High school diploma or equivalent required
7+ years of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or industrial equipment assembly experience preferred
Ability to independently complete complex assembly work with minimal supervision
Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Experience using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and precision inspection equipment
Ability to safely rig, lift, and move equipment in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills and experience training or mentoring team members
