Foreman - Ground Protection

Foreman – Ground Protection is responsible for leading ground protection matting projects across a variety of industries including power generation, oil and gas, and construction. The role includes planning, executing, and managing labor to set up and tear down matting equipment. Responsibilities Motivate and coach team members during the project. Create and execute project plans with team members. Assign tasks to crew members to accomplish daily goals. Represent Sunbelt in communication with the customer and internal resources. Create accurate project timelines and manage project schedule. Maintain tools and supplies required for project completion. Document project details including daily notes, labor logs, and progress reports. Assist with shop and yard cleanliness when not assigned to a project. Assist with deliveries, pick‑ups, and daily business tasks when not assigned to a project. Qualifications Basic equipment knowledge and troubleshooting (pumps, generators, power distribution, HVAC, heaters, shoring). Strong mechanical background preferably in a similar industry. Strong leadership skills with a history of previous success. Construction background. Excellent time‑management skills. Basic equipment operating skills (forklift, wheel loader, skid loader, etc.). Class A CDL preferred. Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 100 pounds regularly. Physical Demands Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 100 pounds. The role may require driving for long periods, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions (rain, wind, excessive temperatures), and working nights and weekends. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA. Base Pay Range $26.46 - $36.37 per hour.
