Service SpecialistThis position supports customers with choosing, ordering, and fitting eyewear under the supervision of a Dispensing Optician. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, working well with team members, and assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager as needed.Customer Service & SalesGreet customers in a friendly and professional mannerUnderstand customer prescriptions and needs to recommend suitable lenses, frames, and featuresHelp customers select, order, fit, and adjust eyewearTake basic facial measurements (such as pupillary distance and frame size) under supervisionExplain prices, warranties, return policies, and proper eyewear careHandle payments, sales, returns, and cashier dutiesRespond politely and honestly to customer questions or complaintsStore & Team SupportMaintain a clean, organized, and professional store environmentArrange eyewear displays according to company standardsReceive, check, and organize inventory shipmentsKeep accurate customer and sales records following privacy rulesAttend staff meetings and required training sessionsWork positively with coworkers and managementTechnical Support (with supervision)Adjust and fit eyeglasses using tools and heating equipmentAssemble eyeglasses by cutting and fitting lenses into framesAssist with eye exam equipment and basic computer systems when neededOptional / Additional DutiesAnswer customer emails or phone calls when requestedHelp organize inventory in storage areasPerform other tasks assigned by supervisorsRequired Qualifications & Skills:QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED requiredExperience: No experience requiredSales or cashier experience is a plusSkills & AbilitiesStrong customer service skillsGood communication and listening skillsBasic math skillsAbility to learn through trainingTeamwork and positive attitudeTime management and problem-solving skillsManual dexterity and attention to detailComfortable using computers and basic office systems
