Job Description

• Collaborate with MUSC Health Orangeburg leadership, as well as system leadership and stakeholders, for a robust, integrated cardiology service line
• Partner with practice leadership to ensure that service line is staffed to meet the needs of the health system, including both clinic operations and the hospital cardiology service
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new cardiology physicians and APPs
• Oversee MUSC Health Orangeburg's cardiac catheterization services, including onsite percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) program
• Drive performance and improvement of cardiology quality and outcomes, including registry-reported outcomes for PCI program
• Assist in the development of processes, policies and procedures regarding clinical care and operational performance
• Support regulatory and compliance objectives, budget needs including capital, information system planning, and other clinical duties
• Assure compassionate, high-quality, efficient patient care for all cardiology providers at MUSC Orangeburg
• Maintain clinical practice as interventional cardiologist

MUSC Health Orangeburg - Since it was first established in 1919, MUSC Health - Orangeburg has grown from a small private hospital into a robust regional health care system.
