This Dispensary Associate position is part-time and is located in Brandon, FL.

As a Dispensary Associate, you'll be a vital force in the evolving world of cannabis. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll be at the forefront of patient acquisition for medicinal cannabis and welcoming adult-use use customers, fostering an environment where education, exploration, and satisfaction intersect. Your primary responsibility is to offer comprehensive education on strains, effects, and various methods of cannabis use, ensuring everyone receives tailored information to make informed decisions. Beyond education, you'll be the face of our dispensary, delivering warm and informed service, recording transactions in the POS system, and collaborating closely with dispensary managers to maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment.

Essential functions include welcoming everyone with a friendly attitude, guiding and educating patients and customers in choosing the right medicine and products, proactively interacting with customers, entering and accessing patient records accurately, representing the company's brand well as a brand ambassador, accurately handling transactions, providing patients and customers with informative printed materials, maintaining a clean and organized dispensary area, and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications include being twenty-one (21) years of age or older, having a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, reliability, meticulous organizational skills, computer-savvy, knowledge of state-specific cannabis laws, and comfortable teaching customers about the medicinal and adult-use aspects of cannabis.

Starting pay rate: $15/hr.

Working conditions include a medical dispensary environment, interaction with the public, ability to function effectively in a high-paced, fast-moving retail environment, exposure to various conditions, high level of scheduling flexibility, and physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
