Accounting Services Supervisor

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually Job Summary Our Accounting Firm is seeking a full-time Accounting Services Supervisor with five (5)+ years of professional office experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for overseeing accounting service functions, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting department onboarding and workflow processes. Meets productivity goals; deadlines and budgets in assigned areas of responsibility. Prioritizes appropriately. Responsible for product quality; thoroughness and accuracy. Effectively communicates to client and manager information regarding project status and potential engagement issues. Develops an understanding of the service capabilities of the Firm Services to identify business growth opportunities. Perform and oversee Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) functions. Become proficient in and utilize our proprietary accounting system. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Contribute to new staff onboarding, orientation, training, and team support activities. Close monthly books, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts. Manage assigned projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal team members. Qualifications Preferred: 5+ years of professional office experience in accounting or related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently, learn new tasks quickly, and self-manage projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with QuickBooks and Xero. A/R and A/P experience beyond general office accounting.
