Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI / Data Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data solutions and business intelligence dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, data modeling, ETL, and data visualization , along with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations .
• Build scalable data models using Power BI and SQL .
• Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs .
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration and reporting.
• Perform data analysis, cleansing, validation, and quality checks.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise reporting solutions.
• Optimize Power BI reports, datasets, and queries for performance.
• Implement appropriate security, including Row-Level Security (RLS) .
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, analysts, and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Participate in troubleshooting, production support, and performance tuning.
• Follow data governance, development standards, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI .
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M) .
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience with data modeling, star schema, and dimensional modeling .
• Experience developing dashboards and reports for enterprise business users.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data integration .
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, datasets, gateways, and deployment pipelines .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Services , Azure SQL, Data Factory, or Synapse.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud data platforms .
• Familiarity with Power BI administration and governance.
• Experience integrating APIs and external data sources.
