Client Service Representative Location: 98-1254 Kaʻahumanu St, Pearl City, HI 96782 Join our VCA Family & Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center Team! We aim to exceed each pet owner’s expectations by providing exceptional client service. As the face of our hospital, the CSR sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain client trust. Essential Functions Customer service functions: greeting visitors, answering telephones, directing clients Scheduling and confirming appointments Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions Answering questions regarding products and services, educating clients on general animal husbandry and non‑medical pet care Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence Maintaining hospital cleanliness and waste removal Qualifications At least one year of proven past experience helping customers High School Diploma/GED or equivalent Excellent listening and communication skills Compassion for pets and people, awareness of others’ reactions Proven decision‑making skills to choose the most appropriate course of action Ability to integrate new information into problem‑solving Proficiency in Microsoft Office Willingness to work non‑traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and tolerate hazards associated with pets Some veterinary experience desired, but not required Schedule Full‑time and part‑time positions available. The hospital is open 24/7 with multiple shift types. One weekend shift per week is required.
