Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 6 patients per nurse during night shifts.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care, including medication administration and monitoring patient conditions.
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient record management.
• Administer and manage care for patients with respiratory conditions, diabetes, and those in need of palliative care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in charge roles.
• Current RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Must be willing to float to any required Cone Health campus.
