Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Call requirement of 90-120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience required (first time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA
• Must have experience with vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Skilled in cardiovascular procedures including receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation
• Experience required with complex procedures: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD
• Must be proficient in heart and lung transplant procedures, valve replacement, and aortic dissection cases
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Floating is required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Must provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting
