Physical Therapist (Article 16) (Healthcare) Position Overview HCA is seeking a NYS Licensed PT to provide habilitative services in our OPWDD Article 16 Clinic. Weespecially welcome clinicians who have experience engaging individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), have a working knowledge of habilitative and functional treatmentplanning, demonstrate strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills and are committed to client-centeredpractice. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provision of services for participants Complete Physical Therapy initial evaluations and revaluations for individuals onclinician's caseloadUse professional training and collaborative discussion with the individual todevelop practical, goal-driven treatment plansUses best practices in performing implementation of Physical TherapytreatmentsCollaborate with families and interdisciplinary teamsMaintain compliance with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations as well as follows agency protocol. Complete all program documentation in a timely manner and per Agency standards and related regulatory practices. Documentation includes but not limited to: treatment plans,treatment notes, initial evaluations, billing forms, incident reports and discharge summaries.Provide initial and ongoing training to PTA. Work with student interns as assigned Attend staff meetings and other meetings/committees as directed by supervisor. Participate in the Clinic's QA committee meeting when available. Participate in workshops and other professional development activities to expand and/or maintain knowledge of best practices and the PT discipline practices Attend all required trainings as directed by supervisor and maintain training certifications #J-18808-Ljbffr Helping Celebrate Abilities in
