Janitorial Supervisor

Janitorial Supervisor Allied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations across mall common areas, including restrooms, food courts, and other public spaces. Join a welcoming and collaborative team where innovation meets excellence. Responsibilities Supervise, train, and work alongside crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas. Ensure compliance with cleaning standards and safety regulations. Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Coordinate scheduling and shift assignments. Report maintenance issues and assist with HVAC, refrigeration, or other building systems as needed. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent for full‑time positions. At least one year of supervisory experience. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Background investigation and drug screening requirements, per federal, state and local laws. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and maintenance procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks reliably. Integrity and ability to work independently or collaboratively. Experience with HVAC/chiller systems diagnostics and operations. Computer proficiency and strong maintenance skills. Professional appearance, confidence, and effective verbal and written communication. Willingness to work hands‑on and on call as required. Ability to embrace change and adapt quickly. Capacity for multi‑tasking, independent judgment, and decision‑making. Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards for housekeeping and maintenance. Additional physical abilities: Ability to operate machinery, high lifts, motorized tools, and vehicles. Ability to climb ladders, walk rooftop, lift and carry up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, drive, and operate equipment frequently. Ability to be on call 24 h/day, 7 days a week, 365 days/year to handle requests and incidents. Flexible and able to adapt to variable shift hours, including weekends and nights.
